Star receipt printers with the ability to connect to iOS should be compatible - not exclusively the models listed below.

Connect receipt printer
Follow these steps in the order shown to connect your printer.
- Configure iPhone or iPad to be able to connect to the printer.
- For LAN connected printers, the iPhone/iPad needs to be on the same network as the printer.
- For USB connected printers, the iPhone/iPad needs to be plugged into the printer.
- For Bluetooth connected printers, the iPhone/iPad needs to have bluetooth enabled and be close to the printer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Within the POS app, go to Settings.
- Tap Connect Receipt Printer.
- The app will look for the printer. Please ensure it is turned on and if using Bluetooth, make sure it is nearby.
- A list of available printers will appear. Please tap the one you would like to use.
- Once it has been select, toggle Cash drawer attached to on if applicable.
- Note: When 'Drawer opens automatically' is enabled, the cash drawer will open during cash transactions.
Receipt printer options
Once the printer has been connected, you have a menu options by clicking on the three dots in the top right.
- Test printer
- Refresh printer
- Select paper width
- Disconnect printer
