Self-fulfilling an order
- Go to Orders > All Orders.
- Search for the order number using the search bar on the left or by filtering the list of orders.
- Select the order number of the order you would like to cancel.
- Modify/cancel the order.
- If the UPS label has been created, click Modify Order > Cancel UPS Label.
- Select Cancel Order.
- Enter the reason for canceling the order.
- Select if you would like to:
- Restore inventory: This will update your current overall inventory to include these items.
- Refund to stored credit: This will add the refund amount back to the customer's account. This is particularly helpful if you need to change the contents of the order. You would need to cancel the order, refund to stored credit, then place the order again with the correct contents.
- Confirm the order number.
- Click Cancel Order & Refund.
The customer will receive a notification of the cancellation and crediting of their order.
Using a Fulfillment House
If the order has not been sent to fulfillment yet
- Go to Orders > All Orders.
- Search for the order number using the search bar on the left or by filtering the list of orders.
- Select the order number of the order you would like to cancel.
- Modify/cancel the order.
- If the UPS label has been created, click Modify Order > Cancel UPS Label.
- Select Cancel Order.
- Enter the reason for canceling the order.
- Select if you would like to:
- Restore inventory: This will update your current overall inventory to include these items.
- Refund to stored credit: This will add the refund amount back to the customer's account. This is particularly helpful if you need to change the contents of the order. You would need to cancel the order, refund to stored credit, then place the order again with the correct contents.
- Confirm the order number.
- Click Cancel Order & Refund.
If the order has been sent to fulfillment
Once the order has been sent to fulfillment, you are not able to make changes to the order. If something needs to be changed, please email customerservice@vinoshipper.com with as much detail as possible so we can intercept the order, if possible.
NOTE: If the order included a tip, the tip amount will be included in the customer's refund.
