You can put a customer's club membership on hold for a period of time or indefinitely. When a customer's club membership is on hold, this will impact their participation in club releases only. Club membership holds will not impact the customer's club member benefits, i.e. club discounts will still apply for a club member while their membership is on hold.


Put a Customer's Club Membership on Hold

  1. Go to CUSTOMERS - CUSTOMER LIST.
  2. Use the search bar to find the customer and click the customer's name.
  3. Select the CLUBS tab.
  4. Find the club membership that the customer would like to put on hold and click MORE OPTIONS.
  5. Click PUT MEMBERSHIP ON HOLD.
  6. Select a Start Date for the hold. This can be the current date or any date in the future.
  7. (optional) Select an End Date for the hold.
  8. Provide a reason for the membership hold.
  9. (optional) If you do not wish to email the customer to notify them of the hold being placed on their membership, turn the NOTIFY CUSTOMER BY EMAIL toggle off.
    NOTE: This email is customizable in ACCOUNT - EMAIL TEMPLATES.
  10. Click SUBMIT.
  11. The club membership on the customer's Clubs tab updates to display the membership hold details. A record of this hold being put on the customer's club membership is recorded in the customer's notes on the Profile & Credit Card tab.
  12. If the membership hold is currently active (i.e. the current date falls within the span of the membership hold), the membership appears with an On Hold indicator.
  13. If all of the customer's club memberships have active holds, the member appears with an On Hold indicator.


Remove a Customer's Club Membership Hold

  1. Go to CUSTOMERS - CUSTOMER LIST.
  2. Use the search bar to find the customer and click the customer's name.
  3. Select the CLUBS tab.
  4. Find the club membership that the customer would like to remove the hold from and click MORE OPTIONS.
  5. Click REMOVE HOLD.
  6. Provide a reason for removing the hold.
  7. Click REMOVE.
  8. The club membership on the customer's Clubs tab updates to display a hold status of None. A record of this hold being removed from the customer's club membership is recorded in the customer's notes on the Profile & Credit Card tab.
  9. If the membership hold was active (i.e. the current date falls within the span of the membership hold), the membership no longer appears with an On Hold indicator.
  10. The member no longer appears with an On Hold indicator.
