UPS Access Points will accept and sign for your delivery and hold it for 7 days. This allows you to go and pick up your package during their hours/days of business.


For producers, this can increase the number of customers you can reach as well as reduce the number of undeliverable shipments. 


For customers, the cost of shipping is also lower.


Alcohol cannot be delivered to Military bases and PO Boxes and at times it is not convenient to be available to wait for the delivery just to sign for the box so using a UPS Access Point for delivery can be a great solution.


Producer

Using UPS Access Points through "Place an Order"

  1. Go to Orders and select Place an Order.
  2. Enter the order details and enter the shipping address.
  3. After you enter the shipping address, press the Ship to UPS Access Point button.
  4. Select the location that is best for your customer.

Setting default access point for a customer

This process works for both general customers with buyer accounts and club members.

  1. Go to Customers > Customer List.
  2. Find the customer whose account you are editing.
  3. Once in the customer account, go to the Addresses account.
  4. For general customers - under Shipping Address, click Select Address.
    For club members, click Select Address in the box with the specific club.
  5. Choose an access point close to their current shipping address by clicking Add UPS Access Point under their current address.
  6. Select the desired access point and click Ship Here.
  7. If they are a club member, make sure you change their club shipping address as well as the main shipping address.


Customer

Choose UPS Access Point for online purchases

  1. Add items to your cart.
  2. Click Check Out.


If you have a buyer account:

  1. Enter you login information.
  2. Under 1. Review Shipping Details, make sure choose Select a UPS Access Point.
    NOTE: The listed access points are based on the address listed for the recipient.
  3. Find the most convenient access point to the recipient and under the address, click Ship Here.
  4. Continue through the checkout process, choosing shipping options and entering payment details.


If you are checking out as a guest:

  1. Enter your name, birth date, email, and phone number.
  2. Read the shipping conditions.
  3. Enter the shipping details of the recipient. The shipping address will determine the choice of access points.
  4. Under 1. Review Shipping Details, make sure choose Select a UPS Access Point.
  5. Find the most convenient access point to the recipient and under the address, click Ship Here.
  6. Continue through the checkout process, choosing shipping options and entering payment details.


Choose UPS Access Point for club orders

  1. When you receive the profile update/customization email prior to a club release, click Update Information.
  2. Under Delivery Info, click the more options button (blue button with three dots).
  3. Click Change Release Preference.
  4. Under the current address, click Select Address.
  5. Choose Add UPS Access Point.
  6. Choose the most convenient access point, then click Ship Here.
  7. Click Confirm Selection, then Update.


Delivery email notifications

  • Once the package arrives at the access point, the recipient will be emailed.
  • When the 7-day hold period is almost over, an email will be sent again to warn them that the package will be returned to the sender if they do not pick it up.


Notes

  • If an Access Point is selected when placing the initial order, there is no additional fee for this service, and shipping can often be reduced from delivery to specific homes or businesses.
