If you’re switching from an external commerce provider, you’ll likely want to transfer your customers’ credit card information.
To do this, follow these steps:
Initiate the Transfer
Email your current credit card processor to request a transfer of card data to Stripe, and be sure to copy customerservice@vinoshipper.com on the message.Submit Customer Data
Fill out the attached Vinoshipper import spreadsheet with your complete customer details, including their associated processor IDs.Once Vinoshipper receives the case number, we will:
Contact your processor to initiate the card data import.
Receive a report containing the customer IDs.
Match those IDs to your original customer records and the imported accounts.
Vinoshipper will handle the token matching and coordinate all communication with your processor. You will be copied on those communications, but no further action is required on your part.
