Gift clubs :

Gift club memberships allow one individual to fully pay for the membership and have release orders sent to the gift recipient.

Gift club membership setup

The first step to offering gift clubs on your club sign up form is to enable gifting on your different clubs.

You can choose to offer gifting on your sign-up form for all clubs or just some.

Go to your account dashboard and click on "Club" then select "Club List".
Choose the club for which you want to enable gifting from the list of your different clubs.
Once you've selected the desired club, click on the "Settings" tab within that club's view.
Inside the club settings, locate the toggle switch labeled "Enable Gift Clubs".
Click on the toggle to enable gift clubs on your club sign up form.
Customize the gift options by selecting the pencil tool.
- By default, the gift club will be offered as an indefinite subscription.
- Optionally, you can offer a limited number of releases for the purchaser. For instance, if the purchaser selects "4 Releases", the gift recipient will receive a total of four orders through the club membership before it's automatically removed.
- You may select as many options as you would like. The customer will see a "Gift membership duration" dropdown during sign up with all of the gift options you have selected.
Save changes.
Customers will now have the option to select gift memberships when signing up on your club form.

When managing customer profiles, follow these steps to add gift club memberships:

NOTE: The purchaser (the person giving the gift) is the account credentials you enter on the backend for the main customer profile.

Go to "Customers" and select "Customer List".
If the buyer (the person giving the gift) is not yet in the account, click "Add customer" and enter all their information and then go to step 4.
If the buyer (the person giving the gift) is already in your account, search for their name. Once they have been located, click on their name.
Navigate to the "Clubs" tab within their account.
If they are not currently a club member, click "Add to club". If they are a current club member, go to "Actions" and choose "Add to Club".
Select the club type they would like to gift.
Toggle on "This is a gift" and click "Next".
On the first page, enter the recipient's information. Click "Next".
Select "Ongoing" for an indefinite membership or "Number of Releases Remaining" for a specific number of club releases. Enter the number of releases and click "Next".
Enter the recipient's shipping address and shipping preference.
Toggle on or off if you would like to send the welcome email to the buyer.
Click "Add to Club". The club membership with have a gift icon next to the name within their profile.

Who receives the customization email?
The gift giver (buyer) will receive the customization email.
Who receives the club order confirmation email?
The gift giver (buyer) will receive the club order confirmation email.
Who receives the profile update reminder email?
The gift giver (buyer) will receive the profile update reminder email.
Who receives shipment notification emails?
The recipient will receive the shipment notification emails. Someone over the age of 21 years old must be available to sign for the package.
Will you send any emails to the recipient?
Only the shipment notifications will be sent to the recipient. It is up to the buyer to tell the recipient about the gift.
