Tips for age verification photo upload

Modified on Thu, 13 Aug at 4:16 PM

A few things make the difference between an ID photo that verifies on the first try and one that doesn't.

  1. Use a camera of at least 5 MP.
  2. Place the document on a dark background that contrasts with it.
  3. Leave that dark background filling about 10% of the top, bottom, left, and right of the frame.
  4. Get all four corners of the document clearly in frame.
  5. Keep the image sharp, straight, and not skewed. Shoot in a well-lit room with the flash off.
