Limit the number of releases that can be skipped per membership per year so that you can better anticipate the annual revenue coming in from your club releases.

Enabling Release Skip Limits

Follow these instructions if you wish to enable release skip limits for your club.

  1. Navigate to Clubs > Club List
  2. Select the club you would like to enable release skip limits for. 
  3. Once inside the view of that club click on the Settings tab.
  4. Once here you see the toggle to enable Release Skip Limits
  5. Click the toggle to enable Release Skip Limits.
    1. By default, Release Skip Limit Options are set such that:
      1. Club Members are allowed to skip up to two releases per calendar year.
      2. Once a membership has reached the skips limit for the year, a minimum order quantity of one is enforced when the customer customizes their club orders for the remainder of the calendar year.


Modifying Skip Limit Options

Follow these instructions if you wish to modify the skip limit options for your club.

  1. Once Release Skip Limits are enabled for a club, you can modify the different skip limit options by selecting the pencil tool.
  2. You can choose to edit the number of allowed skips per calendar year, the minimum order quantity and/or the minimum order value enforced once the skips limit is reached.

Producer Impacts

The following sections describe the impacts to the producer when a club has a Release Skips Limit.


Producer can view number of Releases Skipped YTD per Membership

If a club has a Release Skips Limit, the producer can view how many releases each club member has skipped year-to-date by viewing the club membership details.

  1. Navigate to Customers > Customer List.
  2. Search by name for the club member whose membership you wish to review.
  3. Select the club member's name.
  4. Select the club member's Clubs tab.
    1. Here you can see the number of releases the membership has skipped year to date.

The Releases Skipped YTD information per membership is also available on the Club Member Export for all memberships, regardless of if the club has Release Skips Limit. This information may help you decide to institute a skips limit if you find that your club members are skipping more releases than you wish to allow them to skip.


Producer can view/manage number of Allowed Skips Remaining per Membership

If a club has a Release Skips Limit, the producer can view and manage how many allowed skips each individual club membership has remaining for the year.

  1. Navigate to Customers > Customer List.
  2. Search by name for the club member whose membership you wish to review.
  3. Select the club member's name.
  4. Select the club member's Clubs tab.
    1. Here you can see the number of allowed skips remaining for the membership this year.
    2. If you wish to edit the allowed skips remaining for the membership, select the More Options button > Edit Allowed Skips Remaining.
      1. Here you have the options to set the Allowed Skips Remaining to:
        1. Use Default Club Skip Limit: This option sets the membership to use the skip limit set in Club Settings.
        2. Ignore Club Skip Limit: This option sets the membership to ignore the club's skip limit, allowing the member to skip as many memberships as they wish.
        3. Override Club Skip Limit: This option allows you to set the number of skips remaining for this membership for the calendar year.

The Allowed Skips Remaining information per membership is also available on the Club Member Export.


When modifying a club order, producer is warned of order minimums if member has hit the skips limit

If a club membership has reached the skips limit for the year and the customization being made will result in the order not meeting the order minimums specified for members once they hit the skips limit, the team member is warned when modifying a Club Order.

NOTE: This is just a warning, this does not prevent the team member from making the modification.

When cancelling a club order, producer is warned if member has hit the skips limit

If a club membership has reached the skips limit, the team member is warned about this when cancelling an order for this membership.


NOTE: This is just a warning, this does not prevent the team member from cancelling the order.

This warning appears whether the order has already been processed or has not yet been processed.

Member Impacts

The following sections describe the impacts to the club member when a club has a Release Skips Limit.


When skipping a release, member is notified of skips limit

If a club member is skipping a release for a club that has a Release Skips Limit, they are notified of the number of allowed skips remaining they have for the remainder of the calendar year.

When a member that has hit the skips limit is customizing their club order, order minimums are enforced

If a club membership has reached the skips limit for the year and the club member is attempting to make a customization that will result in the order not meeting the order minimums specified for members that have hit the skips limit, an error appears and the club member is unable to save the changes to the club order.


Member can view their skip history

Club members are able to view their skip history by reviewing their Club Membership Details.
