To ship items that were missing, faulty, or incorrect in the original order, we ask that you create a new order for the products and override the price to $0. This will create the correct UPS label for the number of items you are shipping.
Important: When you ring up the new order, please write in the Winery Notes section - "REPLACEMENT ORDER FOR PRODUCTS in #(order number)".
When our compliance team sees an order for $0, they will know what it was for and they won't have to contact you. For compliance reasons, we track all orders that have a $0 value.
Place a new order
- Log into your Vinoshipper account.
- Go to "Customers" and click "Customer List".
- Search for the customer and click "Place Order" next to their name.
- Using the Place an Order feature, select the replacement/missing item.
- Click on the item in the cart, change the price to $0, and click save.
- Click "Adjust Discount".
- Under Shipping Discount, select "Free Shipping".
- Under Packaging Fee, select "Custom Packaging Fee" and set it to $0. This ensures the customer will not get charged for anything.
- Click "Checkout".
- Choose the customer's shipping address and click "Continue".
- Add a winery note that says "REPLACEMENT ORDER FOR PRODUCTS IN #(order number)". If this note is not added, our compliance team will contact you regarding a low cost order.
- Confirm the total is $0.00.
- Click "Charge".
NOTES
- If this order is in Colorado - there will be a retail tax amount that you will not be able to zero out. You will need to add a stored credit for the amount in the customers account in order to have the order go through.
- If this order is in California - there will be a CRV fee that you will not be able to zero out. You will need to add stored credit for the amount in the customer's account.
