Our focus is minimizing downtime, avoiding third-party handoffs, and ensuring customers, clubs, and billing continue without disruption.

Overview
Our goal is to get you fully operational on Vinoshipper, products, customers, clubs, and payments, without interruption to your business. Our onboarding team will guide you through this process. Here's some things to keep in mind.
What Vinoshipper can import
- Products
Your full catalog, including SKUs, pricing, descriptions, and images - Customers & club members
Customer profiles and club memberships, preserving names, contact information, membership status, and notes - Credit cards on file
Secure migration of stored customer cards through your existing processor - Order history
Up to three years of historical orders
How the migration works (simple sequence)
Most producers can complete migration in 2–6 weeks, depending on data volume and card transfer timing.
The process follows a clear order:
Create your Vinoshipper account
Complete agreements and account approval
Transfer data files
Transfer credit card tokens
Download and test the POS
Go live
Our onboarding team confirms readiness at each step before moving forward.
Step 1: Create your Vinoshipper account
- Migration begins with account creation. Create your account here: https://vinoshipper.com/get-started
- Once submitted, our compliance team reviews your information and sends the required agreements.
Step 2: Complete agreements & account approval
- To ensure compliance, the Vinoshipper agreements must be completed before migration begins.
- Once approved, your account is fully enabled so we can securely import data, process transactions, and prepare everything for a smooth launch.
Step 3: Work with our Onboarding Team
- Depending on which platform you are migrating from, we will work with you to determine the best way to access your data for products, customers, clubs and order history.
- Important notes on data migration limitations:
- Products
- We require COLAs for any alcohol products with 7% ABV or above.
- We require proper tax classification per product, our team will work with you to ensure these are correct.
- We do not import inventories.
- Customers, memberships, notes and tags
- We do not support secondary email addresses in customer accounts.
- We do not import multiple club memberships for the same customer going to different names/addresses.
- Order history (optional)
- Import up to three years of order history.
- Every product must exist in Vinoshipper for an oder to be imported.
- Bundles or multi-packs must be created in Vinoshipper before the order history import, or must be exploded in the original software and imported as individual products.
- We do not import any order type that isn't paid and completed, including refunds.
- We do not import orders that were shipped under a Guest Profile.

Step 4: Credit card migration
- You initiate the transfer with your current platform or processor. We coordinate directly with the processor to move cards directly and securely into Stripe.
- This process can take 2-6 weeks, depending on the processor.
Step 5: Configure your account and POS
- Set up all discounts, team members, and catalogs.
- Set inventories on all available products.
- Add the product catalog and shopping cart to your current website.
- Download the Vinoshipper POS app on iPad or iPhone and log in using your account credentials. For more information, see Start using the Vinoshipper Point of Sale.
Step 6: Verification & go-live
Before launch, we complete a final review to confirm:
Products are set up correctly.
Customers and club members are assigned properly.
Cards are attached to customers.
POS is setup with all products and team members.
Cost & support
- There is no charge for onboarding or data imports.
- You’ll work directly with our in-house onboarding and data team.
- Platform training is available with a dedicated training specialist.
- Dedicated support continues after launch to ensure long-term success.
