Optional States that Require Label Registration
Michigan, Montana, New Jersey, and Connecticut require that each product containing alcohol sold in their state must have its label registered with the state; therefore, Vinoshipper needs to submit label registrations for each product you wish to sell to these states using a Vinoshipper permit. Once a state has approved a label registration, the product will be made available for sale in that state.
For Montana, New Jersey, or Michigan: Vinoshipper charges a $10.00 filing fee per label plus the state's fee.
For Connecticut: Vinoshipper charges a $25 filing fee per label plus the state's fee.
Montana
Once registered these approvals do not expire. You can also change the vintage of the wine without having to refile. No state fee for label registrations.
