Add a new product

  1. Go to the Products and select Product List.
  2. Click Add Product and select +New Product.
  3. Choose Packaged Alcohol, then select the specific beverage type.
Note: Once you have started to fill out the form, you can change the type but it may add or remove some fields.
  4. If you are adding a wine product, choose the type of wine.
Note: You will add the specific varietal in section 3.

Overview

  1. Fill in the fields for the vintage, name and description of the product.
  2. Add an image of the product. If you do not have an image on hand, you can select Use Logo. You can always change this image later.
Note: JPEG, GIF, PNG, and SVG image formats are supported.
  3. If you have multiple brands, select the associated brand name. For more information on brands, click here.

Identification

  1. Add a SKU or UPC, if applicable.
    • A SKU is required if you are using a fulfillment facility or API partner. The SKU must match exactly in your Vinoshipper to any other connected product list.
    • A UPC will allow you to scan barcodes using the POS app. 13-digit barcodes as expected, zeros will be added to the beginning of the barcode to ensure it is 13 digits.
  2. Add the TTB COLA Label ID number.
    • Any product with an ABV under 7.0% does not need a COLA.
    • Any product with an ABV 7.0% and greater must have a COLA in order to be approved by our team. The COLA is a 14-digit number.

Label information

  1. Add the ABV, matching the label exactly.
  2. Choose the product's varietal. This list will change depending on the category and type in the top right corner of the form. If the varietal does not say exact what you want, you can use the varietal label. This will display in place of the dropdown choice.
Example: Select Pinot Gris/Grigio but you would like it to only say Pinot Gris, so this can be added to the Varietal Label field.
  3. Select the country, state/providence and appellation/origin. You can use the appellation label to change it to exactly what you want it to say. You may also choose to hide this from the listing all together.
Example: Select "CA - Sonoma County - Dry Creek Valley" but add an appellation label of "Dry Creek Valley, CA". "Dry Creek Valley, CA" will display on the product listing.

Container

  1. Choose the container type. This will determine your options for size & material.
  2. Select the count. If it is just a single bottle, choose "single". If it is a box of 6 cans, choose 6 pack.
Note: For a box of multiple different products, please see Create a multi-pack.
  3. The material, weight, bottle slots, and unit description will be automatically filled in from your previous selections. Make edits as needed.

Inventory

  1. Set the amount of product available on Vinoshipper. This number will automatically deplete with sales but you can make changes as needed.
  2. Set the Almost Sold Out Threshold. If you set a number higher than 0, an Almost Sold Out banner will appear on the product catalog item or add to cart button when the inventory has reached the chosen threshold.

Price & Discount

  1. Enter the price & MSRP. If the MSRP is greater than the consumer price, the MSRP will appear crossed out.
  2. Set the Minimum Order Quantity Calculation. This is the number of 750mL bottles it equates to, used for the minimum order quantities or discount thresholds.
  3. Use the toggle if this product should be excluded from all discounts.
Note: You can set discounts for specific products or categories. By toggling this on, the product will not have discounts applied nor will it count towards the minimum value for discounts.
