When to add additional brands
The brand feature is designed for businesses that operate multiple distinct brand names. For example, if you produce wines under "Smith Family Vineyards" and also have a separate line called "Smith Ciders," you would create separate brands for each.
If you only have one brand name but want to organize different product types (premium wines, everyday wines, canned wines, etc.), use Vinoshipper's custom catalog feature instead.
How brands work
When you set up multiple brands:
- Each brand gets its own dedicated catalog with appropriate branding
- Customer credit card statements will show the specific brand name for purchases
- Brand logos appear on catalog pages, shopping carts, and receipts
- Products can be filtered by brand catalog on POS
Setting up a new brand
- Sign in to your Vinoshipper account.
- Navigate to Account > Brands.
- Click + Add a Brand.
- Complete the setup process, including uploading your brand logo.
Adding products to your brand
- Go to Products > Product List > Add Product.
- When creating a new product, you'll see a brand dropdown menu.
- Select the appropriate brand for each product.
Add additional brand catalogs to your website
- Once you have added products with the selected brand, go to Products > Product Catalog.
- You will see a new catalog that contains the branded products.
