In POS 2.0, the default state is always a Cart. A cart is temporary and will not be saved unless you either:
- Checkout to complete the transaction
- Save to Tab to preserve the cart for later. Learn more about tabs here.
If you don’t do either of these actions, the cart will be cleared.
Add products to cart
- From Cart, search or browse for a product.
- Use the search bar or filters to narrow down.
- On iPhone: go to Products tab to browse.
- Tap the product to add it.
- Adjust the quantity if needed.
- Tap Add to Cart.
Barcode Scanning
- Tap the Barcode button (next to search) to launch the camera scanner.
- Scan the product’s UPC code.
Note: To use barcode scanning, products must have UPCs entered in Vinoshipper, and device must support iOS/iPadOS 16+ with Apple Neural Engine.

Place an order
- Review items in the cart.
- Tap Checkout.
- Select payment option:
- Card reader
- Tap to Pay on iPhone
- Enter card manually (or scan with camera)
- Use saved card (if customer attached)
- Cash (if enabled)
- Stored credit (auto-applies first if available)
- Collect payment.
- When successful, the Order Confirmation appears.
