You can put a customer's club membership on hold for a period of time or indefinitely. When a customer's club membership is on hold, it only affects their participation in club releases. It does not affect the customer's club member benefits. Club discounts still apply while their membership is on hold.
Put a customer's club membership on hold
- Go to Customers > Customer List.
- Use the search bar to find the customer and click the customer's name.
- Select the Clubs tab.
- Find the club membership you want to put on hold and click the More Options icon.
- Click Put Membership On Hold.
- Select a start date for the hold. This can be the current date or any date in the future.
- (Optional) Select an end date for the hold.
- Provide a reason for the membership hold.
- (Optional) If you don't want to notify the customer by email, turn off the Notify Customer By Email toggle.
Note: You can customize this email in Account > Email Templates. - Click Submit.
- The club membership on the customer's Clubs tab updates to show the hold details. This action is recorded in the Activity Log.
- If the membership hold is currently active, meaning the current date falls within the hold's date range, the membership shows an On Hold badge.
Remove a customer's club membership hold
- Go to Customers > Customer List.

- Find the club membership you want to remove the hold from and click the More Options icon.
