You can use the Customer Details screen on the Vinoshipper mobile application to manage the customer details of customers on your customer list. Customer detail updates made via the mobile app are synced to Vinoshipper in real-time.

The Customer Details screen is presented:

Manage customer's contact information

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap Contact Information.
  2. Edit the customer's information (such as name, email or phone number) on the Contact Information screen.
  3. Tap Save.
  4. The customer's contact information is updated.

Manage customer's orders

Manage an individual order

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap Orders.
  2. Review the customer's upcoming club orders and order list.
  3. Tap on the order you wish to take action on or view more details regarding.
  4. The order details appear.
  5. If you wish to take an action on the order or view more details, tap View Order to open a web view of the order. This web view gives you access to all order functionality currently existing on vinoshipper.com.

Mark all pick up orders complete

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap Orders. Note: If the customer has open pick up or local delivery orders, an Open badge will appear in the customer's Orders section on Customer Details.
  2. Review the customer's upcoming club orders and order list.
  3. Tap More Options on the top right-hand corner of Orders screen.
  4. Tap Pick Up Order Picklist.
  5. Review the products on the picklist for the customer.
  6. Tap Mark All Complete to indicate that the customer has picked up all of the products listed.

Mark all local delivery orders complete

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap Orders. Note: If the customer has open pick up or local delivery orders, an Open badge will appear in the customer's Orders section on Customer Details.
  2. Review the customer's upcoming club orders and order list.
  3. Tap More Options on the top right-hand corner of Orders screen.
  4. Tap Local Delivery Picklist.
  5. Review the products on the picklist for the customer.
  6. Tap Mark All Complete to indicate that all of the products listed have been delivered to the customer.

Manage customer's notes

Add note

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap Notes.
  2. Tap Add Note.
  3. Enter the customer note.
  4. Tap Save.
  5. The note is added to the customer's account.

Delete note

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap Notes.
  2. Swipe to delete the note you wish to remove from the customer's account. Note: System-generated notes cannot be deleted.
  3. The note is removed from the customer's account.

Edit note

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap Notes.
  2. Tap the note you wish to edit. Note: System-generated notes cannot be edited.
  3. Edit the note.
  4. Tap Save.
  5. The note is updated.

Manage customer's stored credit

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap Stored Credit.
  2. Review the customer's stored credit balance.
  3. If you wish to adjust the customer's stored credit balance, tap Adjust.
  4. Enter an amount with a description. To decrease the stored credit balance, enter a negative dollar amount.
  5. Tap Save.
  6. The customer's stored credit balance is adjusted accordingly.

Manage customer's credit card

Add credit card using card reader

If the customer does not have a saved credit card on file and the app is connected to a card reader, the Credit Card screen includes the Use Stripe Card Reader option. Make sure your reader remains connected by leaving it powered on.

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap Credit Card.
  2. Tap Use Stripe Card Reader.
  3. Once the Present Credit Card sheet appears, the reader is ready to accept a card that is inserted or swiped. Note: Tap to pay is not supported for storing credit cards.
  4. All 4 LED lights on the card reader show as green when reading the card information. When the card read is successful, they are accompanied by 1 beep. If there are 2 beeps, there has been an error and you should retry. See Troubleshoot card reader if the card reader continues to experience issues reading the payment method.
  5. After collecting card details, the app saves the credit card to the customer's account.
  6. If the card is saved successfully, the customer's credit card appears saved to the customer's account.
  7. If the card is not saved successfully, the app provides error details.

Add credit card manually

If the customer does not have a saved credit card on file, the Credit Card screen includes the Enter Credit Card Manually option. This is a good fallback option for adding a customer's credit card if you do not have a card reader or if your card reader is not currently connected.

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap Credit Card.
  2. Tap Enter Credit Card Manually.
  3. Enter the customer's credit card information manually or use the Scan card option if you would like to use your camera to enter the card information.
  4. Tap Set up.
  5. If the card is saved successfully, the customer's credit card appears saved to the customer's account.
  6. If the card is not saved successfully, the app provides error details.

Delete credit card

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap Credit Card.
  2. Tap Delete to remove the customer's saved credit card from their account.
  3. Tap Delete to confirm.
  4. The credit card is removed from the customer's account.

Edit credit card using card reader

If the app is connected to a card reader, the Use Stripe Card Reader option appears when editing a customer's credit card. Make sure your reader remains connected by leaving it powered on.

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap Credit Card.
  2. Tap on the customer's existing saved credit card.
  3. Tap Use Stripe Card Reader.
  4. Once the Present Credit Card sheet appears, the reader is ready to accept a card that is inserted or swiped. Note: Tap to pay is not supported for storing credit cards.
  5. All 4 LED lights on the card reader show as green when reading the card information. When the card read is successful, they are accompanied by 1 beep.   1. On the Customer Details screen, tap Credit Card.
  2. Tap on the customer's existing saved credit card.

  4. Enter the customer's credit card information manually or use the Scan card option if you would like to use your camera to enter the card information.
  5. Tap Set up.
  6. If the card is saved successfully, the customer's credit card appears saved to the customer's account.
  7. If the card is not saved successfully, the app provides error details.

Manage customer's addresses

Add address

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap Addresses.
  2. Tap Add Address.
  3. Optionally add a description for the address. Descriptions are recommended so that addresses can be distinguished more easily.
  4. Start typing in the street address in the street address window. The system will auto-populate with addresses that are close to the details you enter. If you see the address auto-populate there you can select it to have it autofill with that address. 
  5. If you do not see the address below type in the full address and hit next to fill in the remainder of the address details.
  6. Review the address information entered into the system.
  7. Tap Save.
  8. The address is saved to the customer's account.

Delete address

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap Addresses.
  2. Tap on the address you would like to delete on the All Addresses list. Note: Addresses that are set as a default address for the customer or as a club membership's shipping address for the customer cannot be deleted.
  3. Tap Delete Address.
  4. The address is removed from the customer's account.

Edit address

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap Addresses.
  2. Tap on the address you would like to edit on the All Addresses list.
  3. Tap on the address.
  4. Make the necessary edits to the customer's address.
  5. Tap Save.
  6. The address is updated.

Change default address

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap Addresses.
  2. Tap on the default address you would like to change on the Default Addresses list.
  3. Tap on the address you would like to set as the customer's default address.
  4. The default address is updated.

Manage customer's club memberships

Add membership

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap Add Club.
  2. Tap on the club you would like to add a membership for.
  3. Confirm and edit the customer's membership preferences as necessary.
  4. Tap Save.
  5. The club membership is added to the customer's account.

Remove membership

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap the club membership that you wish to remove.
  2. Tap Remove From Club.
  3. Tap Remove to confirm.
  4. The club membership is removed from the customer's account.

Update membership preferences

  1. On the Customer Details screen, tap the club membership whose preferences you wish to update.
  2. Edit the customer's membership preferences as necessary.
  3. Tap Save.
  4. The club membership preferences are updated.
