Modify order before shipping

Modify shipping class (ground, next day air, etc.)

  1. Go to Orders > Open Shipments.
  2. Locate the order you need to modify and click the order number.
  3. Click Modify Order > Change Shipping.
    Note: If you have already created a UPS label, go to Modify Order > Cancel UPS Label, then click Modify Order again and choose Change Shipping.
  4. Choose Ship / Deliver Order, then Next.
  5. If you need to change the address or send it to an access point, choose one from their list or enter a new one.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Select the new shipping class, shipping payment, and packaging fee.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Review the order details and click Next.
  10. Review the charges, update the payment method if necessary.
  11. You will see one of three options here:
    1. The new shipping charge is higher than the original: Click Charge.
    2. The new shipping charge is less than the original: Click Next. Then choose to not refund the customer, refund as stored credit, or refund the customer's credit card and click Refund.
    3. The shipping charge is the same as the original: Click Done.
  12. The new order will have an "A" at the end of the order number to indicate there has been a modification.

Change address on order before shipping

  1. Go to Orders > Open Shipments.
  2. Locate the order you need to modify and click the order number.
  3. Click Modify Order > Change Shipping.
    Note: If you have already created a UPS label, go to Modify Order > Cancel UPS Label, then click Modify Order again and choose Change Shipping.
  4. Choose Ship / Deliver Order, then Next.
  5. Under Shipping Address, choose Select Address or Add Access Point.
  6. Select the correct address from their list of past addresses or enter a new one.
  7. Review the address then lick Confirm Selection.
  8. Click Next
  9. Select the new shipping class, shipping payment, and packaging fee.
  10. Click Next.
  11. Review the order details and click Next.
  12. Review the charges, update the payment method if necessary.
  13. Click Charge [amount].
    1. In the case of shipping costs less than the original, a refund amount will be shown here. Click Next.
    2. Choose to not refund the customer, refund as stored credit, or refund the customer's credit card.
    3. Click Refund.
  14. The new order will have an "A" at the end of the order number to indicate there has been a modification.
