Create a wholesale customer
New Customer
- Go to Customers > Add Customer.
- Fill in all the information for the wholesale/trade account.
- Once created, click Customer type at the bottom of Customer Info.
- If a company name was not initially added, enter it now.
- Select the wholesale type.
- If applicable, select the default payment terms, or leave it as No Default.
Convert current customer
- Go to Customers > Customer List.
- Locate the customer you would like to convert to wholesale
- Click their name to view their profile.
- Under Customer info, click Customer type.
- If a company name was not initially added, enter it now.
- Select the wholesale type.
- If applicable, select the default payment terms, or leave it as No Default.
Create an invoice
- Go to Orders > Place an Order.
- Add the applicable products to the cart.
- Add the wholesale/trade account by clicking on Customer Lookup.
- If necessary, add or adjust any discounts.
- Click Checkout.
- Enter a shipping address or select Customer will pick up.
- Select Invoice.
- The previously set Default Payment Term will be applied.
- If there is no Default Payment Term, there will be no invoice due date.
- The due date can be changed on the order details page.
- Add Purchase Order details on the order details page by clicking Modify Order > Edit Purchase Order.
- Once the order has been paid, click Modify Order > Mark Invoice Paid.
Print the invoice
- Go to Orders > All Orders to search for the order number OR
Go to Customers > Customer List, click on the applicable customer, and go to their orders. - At the top of the order details page, click Invoice.
- The invoice PDF will open in a new tab. Download it or print it from here.
