Business Detail Report

The Business Detail Report gives you every angle of your sales activity for a date range you choose — financials, payments, customers, products, stores, team performance, and more. If you need to answer a "how did we do?" question, this is the report to pull.

Create the report

1. Go to Reports > Business Detail Report.
2. Pick a start date and end date.
3. Choose a channel: All Channels, Retail, or Wholesale.
4. View the data directly in your browser using the tabs, or click Download to export to Excel.
   
   

What's included

The report is split into ten tabs:

• Financial Summary: Funds in, charges out, what's settled, what's owed. By channel.
• Overview: Sales and adjustments per channel, with every line item that makes up customer paid.
• Payment Types: How customers paid (credit card, PayPal, cash/external, invoice).
• Customer Types: Club Member, Non-Club Member, and Other.
• Cart Types: Where each order originated: Place an Order, Club, Wholesale, or POS.
• Stores: Order activity and net product by store location.
• Product Categories: Quantities and revenue by category (wine, cider, mead, spirits).
• Products: Same view at the SKU level, with vintage.
• Tastings: Tasting vs. non-tasting net product.
• Team Members: Sales and tips by staff — useful for commission payouts.
  
  

Platform Charges

• Credit Card Fee: Credit card processing fee for the order
• Pick Pack Fee: External fulfillment service fee for the order
• Shipping: Amount charged by the shipping provider (e.g. UPS)
• Sales Tax: Sales tax amount submitted by Vinoshipper
• Excise Tax: Excise tax amount submitted by Vinoshipper
• Custom State Tax: Custom tax amount submitted by Vinoshipper
• State Fees: Fee amount submitted by Vinoshipper for state laws (e.g. CRV)
• Handling Fee: A cost associated with processing orders by Vinoshipper
• Packing Credit: A fee for the provision by you of shipping services
