These instructions will guide you through the additional cart options involved in placing an order.

Set order preference (pick up or ship)
The order preference on the cart indicates to Vinoshipper whether you are placing an in-person or shipment order.
The Pick Up order preference is selected on the cart by default. Use Pick Up for in-person sales or pick up orders. To change the order to Ship, you must first enter the customer's information into the cart. Then you can toggle to switch the order preference on the cart to Ship.

Adjust discounts
Automatic discounts are applied as soon as the cart meets the criteria. Please follow the instructions below if you would like to adjust the discounts applied to the order.
- Navigate to Cart.
- Tap Adjust Discounts.
- Tap the desired discount option from the Available Discounts list.
- Tap the Custom Discount option if you would like to apply a custom discount to the order.
Note: This option is only available for team members with the Custom Discounts permission. See Manage team members for more information. - Tap the No Discount option if you do not want any discounts applied to the order.
- Tap on a discount code to apply it to the order.
- Tap the Custom Discount option if you would like to apply a custom discount to the order.
- The selected discount option replaces the current discounts applied to the order. The order totals are updated to reflect the selected discount option.
If you have adjusted discounts and want to revert back to the default discounts:
- Navigate to Cart.
- Tap Adjust Discounts.
- Tap Reset to Default.
- The default discount(s) replace the current discount applied to the order. The order totals are updated to reflect the default discount(s).
Set location
- From the Vinoshipper POS, navigate to Cart.
- Tap More Options on the top right-hand corner of the cart.
- Your current location appears.
- Tap the location if you would like to select a different location.
- A list of locations appears.
Note: These locations are managed within your Vinoshipper Account at Account > Device Management. See Manage Devices for more information. - Tap your location.
- The device location is updated.
Change team member
- From the Vinoshipper POS, navigate to Cart.
- Tap More Options on the top right-hand corner of the cart.
- Tap Team Member. The current team member assigned to the order appears. This defaults to the team member that last signed in to the app using their PIN.
- Tap Change Team Member if you would like to attribute the order to a different team member.
- Tap the team member that you would like to attribute this order to.
Add producer note
To add a producer note to the order:
- Navigate to Cart.
- Tap More Options on the top right-hand corner of the cart.
- Tap Producer Note.
- Enter the note.
- Tap Save.
To edit the producer note:
- Navigate to Cart.
- Tap More Options on the top right-hand corner of the cart.
- Tap Producer Note.
- Edit the producer note.
- Tap Save.
If you would like to remove the winery note you added:
- Navigate to Cart.
- Tap More Options on the top right-hand corner of the cart.
- Tap Producer Note.
- Erase the note, tap Save.
Add gift note
To add a gift note to the order:
- Navigate to Cart.
- Tap More Options on the top right-hand corner of the cart.
- Tap Gift Note.
- Enter the gift note.
- Tap Save.
If you would like to edit the gift note you added:
- Navigate to Cart.
- Tap More Options on the top right-hand corner of the cart.
- Tap Gift Note.
- Edit the gift note.
- Tap Save.
If you would like to remove the gift note you added:
- Navigate to Cart.
- Tap More Options on the top right-hand corner of the cart.
- Tap Gift Note.
- Erase the note, tap Save.
Clear cart
- From the Vinoshipper Mobile POS, navigate to Cart.
- Tap More Options on the top right-hand corner of the cart.
- Tap Clear Cart.
- All cart contents are cleared and cart options are returned to their default settings.
