Custom fees allow you to add flexible fees to orders, narrowing down to specific zip codes, delivery types, products if needed. There are two types of custom fees:
- Custom order fees
These fees will always appear as a separate line item during checkout.
Example: There is a requirement that all orders being shipped from a specific ZIP code has a 2% fee. - Custom shipping fees
These fees will appear as a separate line item on Mobile POS orders. They will not appear as a separate line item on web browser orders, it will be built into the shipping line item.
Example: During the summers months, you choose to pack ice packs with any orders going to specific states and charge a $5 fee.
Note: To add Flat Rate Shipping, please see Discounts.
